I have my property listed with a local Realtor can
I still use your free services?
No,
unless you have the right to sell your property “For
Sale By Owner” and not pay the Realtor a commission if
you find a buyer. An arrangement like this is usually provided
through a “Flat-Rate-Listing” with the Realtor.
If you have a Flat-Rate-Listing that allows you to advertise
the property yourself, the Realtor can not protest the placement
of our “Talking Yard Sign” next to the Realtors
yard sign. In this case you can use our free real estate
advertising services to locate a buyer and save the commission
that you would normally pay to the Realtor. If you have used
a flat rate Multi Listing Service (MLS) through a real estate
agent you should indicate this on the listing by selecting "Has Flat Rate MLS Listing with FSBO Option" when creating your listing. |
After
placing a FSBO listing on your website I decided to
list my property with a Realtor. The Realtor is now selling my property and I do NOT have a "by owner" option to try to sell it myself, usually referred to as a "Flat Rate MLS Listing with FSBO Option". Do I have to remove my

bid on hundreds of different “search phrases” with Microsoft adCenter,
Google AdWords and Yahoo Search Marketing. Our advertisement

second or third page etc. depends on how much we are willing
to pay for each search phrase in relation to other bidders.

dynamics of advertisement placement, i.e. first page, second

can I tell if my listing is being viewed or if the "Talking
Yard Sign" is attracting buyers to my online listing?
There
is a tracking number displayed at the bottom of your listing
that indicates the number of times your Listing
ID number from our "Talking Yard Sign" or your
classified advertisement has be used to request and view
your specific listing. Listings do not have
individual counters that track "window shoppers" or
people who just like to "look at pictures" of
houses.
If
no one has used your specific Listing ID number to request
and view your listing that doesn't mean it is not being viewed
because SeeMyListing.com still receives thousands of website
visitors each month due to our national Internet advertising
campaign. These visitors can still view your listing without
having to use your Listing ID number. |
Do
I have to place my own advertisements in order to use your
free FSBO real estate listing services?
No,
you are not required to place advertisements in order to
use our free FSBO real estate listing services, unless
you want to take advantage of the "Featured Listing" service.
Keep in mind though that if you do decide to place your
own advertisements, by adding just one line to your FSBO
advertisement you can effectively direct readers of a small
print advertisement to a detailed online real estate listing

What
settings should I use when taking digital photos?
Please
use the lower "resolution" setting on
your digital camera which is typically 640 x 480 pixels.
In addition, set the "compression" to
standard. Your photos will load into a viewers' browser
10 times faster when taken with these settings. Viewers
with dial-up Internet connections will appreciate this! |
I
can't upload my pictures and keep getting a "Not
Found" error message.
The
size of your picture file is too large. You can
reduce the size of the file with picture software or retake
the photo with the camera set to a lower "resolution" 640
x 480 pixels and standard "compression". |

don't have a digital camera. What should I do?

Are
there any restrictions to the delivery of the Talking Yard
Signs?
Some
restrictions may apply to the delivery of the Talking Yard
Signs. For instance, in large counties out west an affiliate
may have to drive 300 miles round trip to deliver a Talking
Yard Sign to remote areas. This is not practical for the
affiliate and we wouldn't expect the affiliate to make such
a trip. Another example may be high crime areas where the
affiliate would be put in danger when delivering a Talking
Yard Sign or a dilapidated run down property that has no
chance of ever finding a buyer. Because each circumstance
is different we allow the affiliate to make the ultimate
decision about which properties they will or will not deliver
Talking Yard Signs to and we place no restrictions on how
they make their decision.
